THE GLOBE INN
Set on a picturesque Georgian square blooming with life in the bustling seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea, The Globe Inn is perfectly placed for an adventure exploring the beautiful North Norfolk coast.
Newly refurbished and inspired by the town's maritime charm, the pub and dining room have been lovingly updated. An eclectic mix of travel ephemera adorns the walls, and the brickwork and beams are complemented with walnut timbers, and brass and antique lighting.
Our 19 bedrooms have also been given a makeover, using coastal inspired fabrics and soft pastels. The addition of Arch House Rooms now offers 10 off-site spacious bedrooms and a self-contained cottage, all with private parking and just a short walk away.
With a new menu celebrating locally sourced ingredients and a friendly, inviting team, we can’t wait to welcome you and your four-legged friends.
We consider ourselves very lucky to have access to such incredible provenance right on our doorstep. Our chefs take great delight and pride in crafting dishes that showcase the finest locally sourced specialities, that embrace the rich region's nautical heritage.
Our menu offers a fresh take on regional British cuisine fare from land and sea, all with a global touch. Expect classic favourites reimagined. From shell on prawns, crispy whitebait and chicken schnitzel to beer battered fish and chips, rump steak and our pie of the day.
With the breathtaking beaches, numerous attractions and a plethora of quirky shops, it is almost impossible to fit everything into one day when visiting Norfolk.
Our North Norfolk pubs have 29 bedrooms and offer a cosy place to rest your head after a day in the salty sea air. Lovingly refreshed, all of our rooms have been re-designed to emulate the North Norfolk coast, inspiring fabrics, papers and paints, capturing the coastal character of Wells-Next-The-Sea.
There is a choice of rooms, with varying sizes and styles to suit different tastes and needs. Guests can choose from accommodation within the charming main pub building, nestled around our atmospheric terrace garden, or a short stroll away at the beautifully restored Arch House Rooms.
Each room offers a unique experience and includes amenities such as flat screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, WIFI
and Connock products.
Arch House is a Grade 2 listed red brick house, ideally located just a short stroll from The Globe Inn in the heart of Wells-Next-The-Sea.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Wells Quay and the Georgian square of The Buttlands, Arch House offers a retreat for couples, families and groups of friends looking for accommodation in Wells Next The Sea.
This restored sanctuary is home to 13 thoughtfully refurbished bedrooms, blending characterful period features with modern comforts. Guests can unwind in the welcoming communal lounge or sitting room, enjoy a morning coffee on the sunny terrace and park in the convenient private car park.

What are your opening times?
We are open every day 8am to 11pm, breakfast is from 8am to 10am and all day dining 12pm to 9pm.
Do you have parking available?
Currently, we do not have on-site parking; however, there is parking by the green in front of our pub. Guests staying in Arch House Rooms will have access to a private car park. Find out more information here.
Are you dog friendly?
We love furry friends, we welcome them into our bar, restaurant and our rooms.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Yes, gift vouchers are available and make perfect presents. You can purchase them through our website or by phone.
