Our North Norfolk restaurant
Locally sourced, seasonal dishes
Our kitchen team work closely with local fishermen and butchers in Wells-next-the-Sea and around North Norfolk, taking real delight in producing locally-sourced, consistently fresh and delicious meals. The beef cattle fattened on salt marshes belonging to ancient estates and the creels of lobster and baskets of crab brought straight up from the quay have a special unbeatable flavour.
Our lunch and dinner menus alter seasonally to take advantage of the fantastic harvests of local produce, with vegetarian & vegan options always available. Continental and full Norfolk breakfast is available to ‘walks-ins’ as well as residents and is popular with (early) bird-watchers.
We have recently introduced a short menu for Saturday afternoons between 3pm and 6pm for all those hungry people who were having such fun on the beach they forgot about lunch! Our wood-fired stone-baked pizzas are really fabulous; freshly made, crisp and with great toppings. We invite you to eat pizzas al fresco 12pm – 8pm through the long summer holidays, until 8 September - they are available only in our sunny courtyard and cannot be eaten inside. We can offer takeaway too! We do not light the pizza oven in inclement weather, so it is always worth ringing on the day if a pizza is what you crave!Opening hours:
