The Talk of Wells - Lt Col Philip Neame

Each autumn/winter we hold a series of fascinating talks in aid of a local charity. This year's Talk of Wells is in aid of The Wells Maltings Trust which was set up in 2010 to oversee the regeneration and development of the Maltings, Sackhouse and Granary Theatre in Wells-next-the-Sea and to create an exciting new cultural and community hub for North Norfolk with an exciting and diverse programme of imaginative and distinct entertainment including theatre, music, comedy, cinema and exhibitions and an immersive heritage attraction. It will be North Norfolk’s Premier Arts & Heritage Centre.

Monday 11 December with Lt. Col. Philip Neame, Parachute Regiment. Philip commanded D Coy 2 PARA in Falklands War taking over after Col 'H' Jones was killed in battle. He has a lifelong passion for mountaineering with two ascents of Everest 1976 & 1992.

So, join us on specific Mondays through the Autumn and Winter when a special menu of two courses and a glass of wine will be served for £23.50. We will donate £5.00 to the fund for every person eating. Come and enjoy talks from the men and women who will talk with passion about their lives and adventures.
