As part of our fundraising talks to raise funds for the Wells Sea Cadets Corps, our speaker on Monday, 2 December was Mark Nicholls who brought to life the sailing heroes from his book, Norfolk Maritime Heroes & Legends. It was a great talk, we all know we live on an island, but just how many of the country's most illustrious sailors were born, bred and learnt their craft on our North Norfolk Coast was incredible to learn.
